EDNE 01: 6 Nights/7 Days - Camping Safari – 1554 Per person Starting on the 16/10/2014

Day 1. Addis

Upon arrival in Ethiopia you will be met and transferred to the Hamony Hotel for overnight.

Day 2. Addis/Awash

In the morning drive to Awash National Park for game drive. Lunch at midday. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 5. Berhale

Drive to Berahile which is one of the gateway towns to Dallol, the "hottest inhabited places on Earth"(Wikipedia). Situated on the banks of a seasonal river, at elevation of 674m (2,211ft) above sea level, Berahile is small, but an important host town to camel caravans transporting salt from Dallol to various market towns in northern Ethiopia. Lunch will be provided at midday. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite.

Day 3. Awash/Logia

In the morning drive to Logia; a place with a very small population in the country. Lunch will be provided at midday. Dinner and overnight at the camp in Logia.

Day 6. Mekele

Today you will proceed to the Mekele town which  is the capital of Tigre and one of the largest towns in Ethiopia. It is the smartest and arguably the most rapidly developing town in the country. Mekele is a likeable place, with good facilities and the welcoming air that is so typical of Tigre it is the perfect place to break after a long travel, it is an ideal location for relaxation and yet organize hiking in Gheralta. All meals and overnight at the Camp.

Day 4. Logia/Danakil Depression

Proceed to Dallol Depression popularly known as Danakil depressiona place in northeastern Ethiopia that is famous for many reasons. The main reason is of course that it is the all year round hottest place in the world. The temperature averages around 34°C (94°F) and the fact that is one of the lowest points on earth at 130 meters below sea level.Lunch at midday. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite.

Day 7. Fly to Addis

Today you will be transfer to the airport for your flight to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival at the airport you will be met and transferred to town. End of our services.
